Welcome to the Digital Media Studio

About the Digital Media Studio:

The SJMC houses one of the most technologically advanced facilities in the nation. The digital media studios consist of 57 Mac and PC computer workstations, all with the latest software for publication, web and digital video production and editing.

Students in classes with assigned labs also have access to equipment including digital still and video cameras, plus a digital video news studio in which the student news program "University Report" is produced. Students learn all aspects of television production in the studio, from behind the desk to behind the scenes.

END OF SPRING SEMESTER 2008
All equipment must be returned by Friday, May 9. Last day for equipment pickup is Wednesday, May 7. Students are responsible for copying and backing up any personal files by noon on Thursday, May 15.

FINALS WEEK MAY 12-16

SPRING MAINTENANCE
The DMS will be closed from noon on Thursday, May 15 until the first day of summer session when summer hours will go into effect.

There will be NO EQUIPMENT CHECKOUT after May 7.
